MidwestZ does not check listings, sellers, or buyers, and takes no part in any deal. A post appearing here is not a recommendation — the club has no way to know whether a seller is who they say they are.
- See it before you pay. In person where you can, in public, in daylight, and bring someone.
- Treat wire transfers, gift cards, crypto and friends-and-family payments as a scam. Those are chosen because they cannot be reversed, and that is the whole reason to ask for them.
- Be slow with anyone who will not meet. A seller who is always travelling, needs a shipping deposit, or wants to move the conversation off the site is running the oldest version of this.
