Indiana is not known for elevation, which makes Brown County a surprise. IN-135 south of Nashville rolls and turns through hardwood forest, with Brown County State Park's ridge road worth the entry fee for the views alone.

  • Leaf season turns this into a queue. The park gate can back onto the road.
